Carpenters / Joiners – Job in Norway
We are looking for experienced carpenters, joiners and woodworking specialists for work in the Holmefjord / Bergen region, Norway. The position includes woodworking tasks in a factory, installation work and carpentry tasks on construction sites. Free accommodation in a single room, transport to work and all necessary work equipment are provided.
Job Description
- Woodworking tasks in a factory.
- Installation work on construction sites.
- Carpentry and joinery work on construction sites.
- Teamwork on various wooden structures.
- Interior construction, finishing and structural work.
- Work with timber frame houses, facades and terraces.
Salary
Starting rate: 255 NOK / hour gross.
Overtime: +50%, i.e. 382.50 NOK / hour gross.
Workload: approx. 55 hours per week.
The monthly salary depends on the actual hours worked and the application of overtime. After 2 months of work, the salary may be reviewed based on the candidate’s experience, work quality and independence.
Schedule and Rotation
- Working days: Monday–Saturday.
- Monday–Friday: approx. 10 hours per day.
- Saturday: approx. 5 hours.
- Total workload: approx. 55 hours per week.
- Rotation: 6 weeks of work / 2 weeks off.
- There is a possibility to adjust the schedule around Christmas, Easter and other periods.

Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in carpentry, joinery or woodworking.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Good English language skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Responsible attitude towards work.
- Experience with interior work, wooden structures, installation or timber frame houses is a strong advantage.
- Category B driving licence is an advantage.
